My Father Inti Cesar Malasquez is a Peruvian shaman and musician and has been instrumental in guiding me towards my divine self, whether it be by accompanying him to ceremonies in North and South America, India, Nepal or Europe and meeting spiritual elders, gurus, sadhus or shamans or by listening to him sing the ancient songs as he poured water over the grandfather stones in the Sweat lodge. I have been part of ceremony since I was born seven months and feet first to the sounds of the drums of a Candomble ceremony in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. While a young boy growing up in the ancient city of Varanasi in Northern India, I would run along the bathing ghats next to the sacred river Ganga and listen to the thousands of pilgrims bathing every day chanting "Om Namah Shivaya, Om Namah Shivaya" As a young apprentice to Shamans in the Peruvian Amazon I journeyed deep into the vastness of the Ayahuasca Ceremony guided by the Icaros of the master Shamans. It was while studying plant medicine in Peru that I received a visitation by Bhagavan Satya Sai Baba who invited me to see him in India.
Before I met Sai Baba, I used to use ceremony as a means to connect to the jungle, earth or elemental beings instead of realizing that it was possible to connect to the creator of all and help everyone present connect to the same power source. It was only when I heard Lord Shiva booming down at me during an intense thunder and lightening storm deep in the Amazon Rain forest" Why are you not asking God for Help?" did I finally realize that I had to go to the source and ask for help. Thus began my 15 year and counting journey in the Sai field, where I learn about the the Hindu principle of Dharma, which is truth through word, action and deed and this now influences all of my ceremonies and healing work. The shamanic ceremonies and healing's that I have learned on the Indigenous path are a vehicle that has carried me to a deeper understanding of Indian wisdom. As I chant Vedic mantras and pour ghee into the sacred fire or build a Peruvian offering to the Earth ceremony, God is always present on my mind and everything that I am doing is for the creator and all of creation. I am eternally grateful to Satya Sai Baba and Pachamama for their teachings and loving guidance.
When you come to my ceremonies, you will participate in a cosmic union of the earthy feminine and divine masculine where Shiva and Shakti unite to create divine light. A place where indigenous wisdom joins Dharmic law, creating a progressively moving energy that helps to clear and remove patterns and blocks that no longer serves us. While we create a mandala, fire ceremony or medicine wheel, we constantly advance in ceremonial synchronicity into a galaxy of divine wisdom, unleashing a whirlwind of possibility and activating the doorways to our inner cells where gratitude, abundance and the sacred language of compassion is spoken. All ceremonies, pujas, healing's and speaking engagements are dedicated to world peace and the evolution of all sentient beings.
